Friends Feature: Adrian Duckett
Chester & Friends isn’t much without friends. We’d really just be a creative company run by a cat. Sometimes the friends are clients. Sometimes the friends are our network of creatives. And, sometimes, just sometimes, the friends are us. Today we want to introduce the extremely handsome and versatile sales maestro. It’s a quick read, so just….read it.
Introducing our dear friend in Bellingham WA, Señor Adrian Duckett.

As a kid, if Adrian wasn’t playing outside, he could be found doing one of three things: obsessing over the plot of a new book, watching yet another movie on VHS, or crafting stories of his own. But despite his tendency to get absorbed in other worlds, Adrian’s friends and family would describe himself as an extrovert. In high school, his earth science teacher looked into his future, and told him he would make a great salesperson. At the time, Adrian rejected the idea, but it would prove to be true years later.
“What drives me to get up and go to work every morning is people. I love making new connections with people, learning their stories, and being a helpful resource for them to look to when they need it. If I didn’t work with people all day every day, I would just be bored. I’ve done some solo backpacking trips and I was pretty miserable the whole time. My partner and better half has told me my love language is acts of service, and although that might be a little hyperbolic in this context, it does shed some light on how I work.”
Fast forward. The craft beer industry shaped Adrian’s experience living in the PNW for nearly a decade. He started his work behind the bar but before long he found a track working in sales and distribution, where his personality, education, and talents were a natural fit. While working in sales, Adrian developed his skills in account management, wholesaler management, market research and strategies, and data analysis. And not only did the beer scene in Bellingham provide Adrian with a career, it also forged many the relationships and friendships he has today--including his initial introductions to AJ and Jim.
Adrian is excited to bring his sales and account management experience to the Chester & Friends team. As a respectful collaborator, successful critical thinker, and unique problem solver, he looks forward to meeting new clients and crafting their stories.
